Clayton Controls Achieves ISO 9001:2000 Certification
Company’s 40-year tradition of service and quality punctuated with ISO Certification

COSTA MESA, Calif., June 5, 2006—Clayton Controls, Inc., a leader in electromechanical and fluid power distribution, along with its custom engineered solutions division Clayton Engineered Solution, which develops and implements custom automation solutions, today announced that it has been independently certified as meeting the ISO 9001:2000 standard for quality management. The certification was awarded after an audit performed by SAI Global, one of the world’s leading business publishing, compliance, training and assurance organizations.

ISO 9001, part of the ISO 9000 family of standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization, establishes internationally recognized criteria for best practices in quality management. The certification process for the ISO 9001:2000 is considered the highest standard for quality assurance.

Currently, only about 20 percent of U.S. companies holding ISO 9001 registrations, including Clayton Controls, have met the new guidelines to achieve ISO 9001:2000.
